With powder coating technologies, aluminum railings eliminate rust, corrosion and the hassle of re-painting. Armor Rail is a welded system, pre-fabricated to fit your specific deck size. Being a welded system means Armor Rail has eliminated the "nuts and bolts" look of other railing systems. There are very few nuts and blots used to assemble the railing. This not only adds to the aesthetics of the rail, but the elimination of snagged clothing and minor cuts that occur when nuts and bolts are used to piece a rail together. Unlike mechanically fastened post to base plate connections, our welded connection eliminates the need for unsightly, and problem causing, stabilizer brackets. IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ! Armor Rail is engineered tough enough to meet all of the New U.S. 2006 IBC requirements. Armor Rail is the only Aluminum Railing system in North West Washington to meet and exceed theses newly adopted code requirements. Armor Rails aluminum extrusions are made of a higher quality aluminum with wall thicknesses more than double that of our competitors. Armor Rail has a 6 mil powder coated finish. Which exceeds the AAMA 2603.98 specifications for UV and salt spray resistance. What is Powder Coating? Powder coating is the future of finishing.
